The main research directions include educational management, subject teaching (Chinese), subject teaching (mathematics), subject teaching (chemistry), Subject teaching (English), subject teaching (geography), modern educational technology, mental health education, preschool education, primary education and other research directions.

The pedagogical discipline is the key discipline of Zhejiang Province, the first-class construction discipline of Zhejiang Province and the key discipline of Ningbo.This discipline has a strong teaching forcewith more than 60 full-time teachersandmore than 50 part-time instructors.
